If it's nothing to decide, than the choice is already made/ What's left it's not worth our thought/ Though you couldn't hold me you kept me up until the dawn And if all is lost, then let's rejoice for what we had/ We came close, but never went too far/ You didn't tell me it wouldn't be this way before/ You couldn't tell me it wouldn't be this way before (ohh) Just follow me into eternity/ because this poverty won't be a chain Your fortress gates are falling/ Your bells are ringing loud and strong though they are broken, they ring so free and far/ Though you didn't answer you know the reasons in your soul/ Oh you know to get there you're gonna have to pay a toll (ohh) Just follow me into eternity/ because this tragedy won't stop this train
2.
If I start to Stutter it's just because I don't know what to say/ You've been asking me questions and I can't give you the answer right away I've been thinking about what tomorrow's got in store for me/ Trying to reason it out, I guess we'll just have to wait and see I laid down to take my rest last night, took about 3 hours to fall asleep/ You've got me rollin' tumblin' and turnin' around there was just too much room without you next to me I've been thinking about what tomorrow's got in store for me/ Trying to reason it out, I guess we'll just have to wait and see/ Oh no I learned not to fight it, you just end up getting more confused that way/ And you never got me knowin' if I'm comin' or goin' if I'm just a little bit too early or a little too late I've been thinking about what tomorrow's got in store for me/ Trying to reason it out, I guess we'll just have to wait and... see

Neo Nazi kamikaze fighter dogs /cleaning out their bagpipes on their way to war/ marching forward but we don't know what toward/ fighting constantly but we don't know what for The maid of honor she waits at the door/ as the jury's shouting out and crying for more/ they don't know what she's had to endure/ they can't see the bloodstains on the floor I don't even know who you are anymore/ you've been shouting for a different cause than before Vacuuming loneliness from the rays of the sun/ accusing the action that has never been done/ give all the money to your brother's son/ we won't be there on time unless we start to run I don't even know who you are anymore/ you've been shouting for a different cause than before Evil angels play conspicuous roles/ evil or not we all cast a stone/ paint it differently and call it your own/ rule the empty kingdom with a bladeless sword I don't even know who you are anymore/ you've been shouting for a different cause than before

I wish that I could be more like what you'd wanna see but these things ain't inside of me and I must be true/ I can't tell what you want from me, i'm trying to keep my record clean and be more who I wanna be but I don't know if I could/ or how I would I don't think that you meant it/ when you turned to me and said/ that you could never be true to me/ oh how I weeped you've got these things infront of you, and all the different paths to choose but will you win or will you lose? I do not know/ I guess that it all comes down to if you smile or if you frown, and if you let them all bring you down then I guess that you'll go right to the bottom floor I don't think that you meant it/ when you turned to me and said/ that you could never be true to me/ oh how I weeped But we've got all this to say/ and we've got this world to save/ and as the glacier steams the ocean screams/ someone help me Because I've got myself into a bind, I Really don't think we'll win this time/ should I take this as I sign or should I pretend I'm blind?/ The way it goes and the way it ends all depends on how it began/ we're all still doing the things we can to see it through/ all staying on the move I don't think that you meant it/ when you turned to me and said/ that you could never be true to me/ oh how I weeped
5.
At the base of everything/ my foundation is made out of wood/ you've got the match you can burn it all down/ I wonder if you would? If my mind was a forest/ would you set it ablaze/ just because you could?/ would you stand there would you watch it turn to ashes/ or would you put it out like you know that you should? Do you think that it's possible/ to teach poetry from a book?/ is it something that can be taught to anyone or by some/ is it just understood? What if we tried to start a riot on sunday/ do you think anyone would even look?/ Or would they just all think it it typical/ of 2 people who look how we do? What if I asked you for your opinion/ would you give it to me straight/ or would you lie through your teeth?/ What if I started to tell you everything/ would you look down upon/ every terrible deed? And if the sky unfolds would you feel ungrateful knowing in this way/ that you're just like me?/ What if we asked out loud all of these questions/ about what we've got/ would it be called real? I just can't help but question the state I'm in/ 'cause am I only halfway though, or is this all I'm getting?/ You gotta let me know So if we made a base for everything/ where do you think the building would start?/ would you build it up upon all things material/ or would you let it exist in the soul and heart? And what if all your friends were watching/ would you still say to me/ all the things you did/ Oh can't you just word it differently/ in a special way/ that only we'd understand?

I was sitting on a plum pit with an arrow pointed at the sun/ I was just trying to tell myself I'm not the only one It started with a little romance/ now I think i've gone and lost my chance/ I can't help it little girl, ain't that the story of my life? Gather round children and I'll tell the tale about my town/ every time that old sun went up the word would pass around/ I was so tired of false salvation, the heat from the cold/ so i escaped through the 3rd and 4th prophet to a land of gold However it was all i could've done/ to keep my feet moving on the run/ I can't help it little girl, ain't that the story of my life? Maybe i was just a fool to get caught in the game/ Every man traveling down that road is a man insane/ so think twice before you leap, but leap before you fall/ sometimes a happy ending to the story ain't the ending at all It started with a little romance/ now I think i've gone and lost my chance/ I can't help it little girl, ain't that the story of my life? It started with a little romance/ now I think i've gone and F!cked up my chance/ I can't help it little girl, ain't that the story of my life?

I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone You're trying to make your mark in society You're using all the tricks that you used on me You're reading all them high-fashion magazines The clothes you're wearing, girl, they're causing public scenes I said, I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone Not your steppin' stone Not your steppin' stone When I first met you, girl, you didn't have no shoes But, now you're walking around like you're front-page news You've been awful careful 'bout the friends you choose But, you won't find my name in your book of "who's-who?" I said, I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone (No, girl, not me!) I-I-I-I-I'm not your steppin' stone Not your steppin' stone I'm not…

take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind Well you don't know how hard I tried/ about the pain or the sacrifice/ to reach a place that I could not find/ but I know one day, it's gonna be alright take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind I'd trade my life for a minute or two/ if I found myself right next to you/ It's so easy come, so easy go/ you gotta plant that seed, you gotta let it grow take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind I take that whole world with a grain of sand/ I'm tryin to do the best that I can/ If it skips the mind it won't meet the eye/ I'm gonna take it easy, I'm gonna be alright take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind take it easy/ take it easy/ ease your mind

I wanna be lost in your crowd/ and be surrounded when noone's around/ my head is swirling with crazy sounds/ as my feel walk the cold damp ground I was so cold and lonely but now I found out where I'm going/ though tomorrow things might not be the same that's ok because I'm happy today You have got a habit of walking away/ just when I think of the right thing to say/ lead myself out of disarray/ just tried to think of a reason to stay I was so cold and lonely but now I found out where I'm going/ though tomorrow things might not be the same that's ok because I'm happy today This idea was gone so fast/ before I even had time to ask/ no salvation from behind this mask/ but times won't let these feelings last I won't be so cold and lonely but now I found out where I'm going/ though tomorrow things might not be the same that's ok because I'm happy today
